ESKILARA participates in the iCan project, in collaboration with the company InnovatekBi Krea.
ESKILARA is part of the European consortium of the iCan project, "Inclusive Online Platform for Older Adults", funded by the European AAL programme and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.
The project, in which ESKILARA participates as a leader in dissemination and exploitation strategies, aims to facilitate the daily life of the elderly.
Through a friendly, personalized and intuitive interface, elderlies will have access to a variety of functions that will serve them in their daily routine. With the help of a smart watch that connects to the platform, the elderly person will feel safer to walk knowing that they are being measured biologically and dynamically informed of biometric variables, while, in case of anomalies, their family and your doctor will be informed by receiving immediate notifications.
Likewise, it facilitates the possibility of home delivery of medicines or other goods, a service through which the elderly person can request an escort to help them in an outdoor activity, taxis for people with mobility problems and smart games with a simplistic network environment, which are some of the features that make iCan a holistic platform with unique capabilities.
