ESKILARA participates in IKIGAI55 project
Eskilara participates in the Ikigai55 project, an innovative project co-financed within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. This is a proposal inspired by the Japanese concept "Ikigai", a term that means "living with meaning."
The project aims to demonstrate the benefits that the digital era offers us for the senior population, enriching our lives with healthy habits, activity and fun. Seven organizing countries participate: Greece, Cyprus, Hungary, Portugal, Italy and Belgium. Ikigai55 aims to overcome the digital divide and foster an inclusive environment for the aging population.
Goals
Improve the capacity of trainers and caregivers who work with older adults, training them to promote physical activity that preserves health and breaks the intergenerational digital divide.
Increase the awareness of older adults to lead a healthy life, becoming knowledgeable about the digital world and fostering a feeling of inclusion in their community.
